Speaker: Tengku Mohamed Asyraf, Executive Director of Haniffa Business School
Tengku Mohamed Asyraf is the Executive Director of Haniffa Business School and was previously an Economist at the Central Bank of Malaysia. He graduated with an MPhil in Economics from the University of Oxford and a BSc (Hons) in Economics and Econometrics from the University of Nottingham UK.
Leveraging on his previous experience as a Central Bank economist, he will share some key points on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak and the ensuing Great Lockdown on the global economy. He will also briefly discuss the economic and health policies that were undertaken after the initial outbreak of the pandemic, which can lead to further discussions on the optimal policies that ought to be undertaken under the current situation of the pandemic.
